A fantastic night of laughter hosted by Steve Rimmer.

First up we have Lauren Pattison with her new show “Lady Muck”

Lauren is one of the brightest young things on the comedy scene, who is beginning to make her presence known across the country, homegrown talent Lauren Pattison brings a preview of her hotly anticipated debut hour to the club she’s grown up (and thrown up) in.

Fresh from performing at both Leeds and Latitude Festival and supporting the likes of Katherine Ryan, Kerry Godliman and Dane Baptiste on tour, this baby faced comic is one to watch out for.

‘star of the future … Lauren Pattison looks set for fame’ List

‘sharp writing’ Guardian

‘rising star’ Evening Standard

‘You. Are. So. Funny.’ Katherine Ryan

‘poignancy and sheer belligerent coarseness … a riot’ York Press

‘psychologically devious’ Clive Anderson

Then we have a Hull favourite Patrick Monahan with his new show “Rewind Selector 90’s”

A brand new stand up show from award winning stand up comedian Patrick Monahan, doing stand up stories about his life growing up as a teenager in England, compared to life for teenagers today in 2017!

Also Monahan looks at his Irish Iranian heritage how it influenced his life growing up in 1990’s Britain! We didn’t have Instagram, Facebook or Twitter but we could all afford to buy a house! Justin Beiber wasn’t even conceived but Prince & George Michael where still alive & well!

Audience favourite Patrick Monahan blends a high energy comedy style with hilarious and engaging topical and observational material. Known for working a room, Patrick is adored by his audiences with whom he makes an effortless connection!

With over 10 different Edinburgh festival shows, and several different national and international tour shows. As seen on ITV1 Splash, Aled Jones Weekend TV, Loose women, BBC1’s Let’s Dance for Sports Relief, and the winner of ITV1’s “Show me the Funny”.

‘The same mix of control and on-stage charisma as a young Alan Davies’. ✭✭✭✭The Herald

Julian Deane: Preview

Circuit favourite Julian Deane is celebrated across the country for his ingenious punch lines and perfect delivery. Now the award-winning comedian (ITV’s Stand Up Hero, Laughing Horse winner), and writer (Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Mock the Week, Morgan Spurlock’s New Britannia) brings his stand up show to the Barnsley April Fools Festival.

“deliciously twisted… a stream of seriously good gags… quick, sharply written and endlessly repeatable lines” The Guardian

“His trick is to make you think you’re watching standard stand-up fare, then twisting expectations with sharp, original punchlines” The Independent
