NICE UP! present WRONGTOM[Roots Manuva / Hard-Fi tour DJ]with DJ Shepdog The man behind the massive "Duppy Writer" album with Roots Manuva, which took the legendary UK MC on a trip through 80s dancehall and back, makes his debut appearance in Hull. Known for his encyclopedic knowledge of reggae amongst many other genres of music, Tom has been producing his own music as well as mind-boggling mash-up mixes for many years. Recent projects include in-house dub-remixer for indie/pop superstars Hard-Fi (as well as joining them as support DJ on tour), remixer and producer for artists such as Dub Pistols, The Nextmen, Pama International and Jimmy Screech. Most famously though, Tom was invited to remix the back catalogue of legendary UK Hip Hop artist Roots Manuva. Taking his cues from seminal labels such as Fashion, Greensleeves & UK Bubblers, Tom turned in an impeccable lesson in dubwise remixing, catapulting the both of them into the spotlight and gaining critical acclaim across the board.
