From theatre, live music and cinema to fashion, comedy, art and photography exhibitions, this multi-function space will also feature indoor markets and food fayres as well as activities for young people.
Fruit will be the new home for award winning professional theatre company Ensemble 52, as well as a base for Hull Film, bringing the best in new independent, world and classic cinema. Operated by the highly successful team behind Hull's leading club and music venue The Welly, there will be a wide and eclectic range of music. Markets will feature the most popular independent traders in the area, with visitors being able to browse amongst flower stalls, art, antiques, vintage clothes and records, book-stalls, accessories and much more. With links to the Balman Gallery in Newcastle, Fruit will also feature exhibitions by some of the country's top up and coming artists.

The bar at Fruit sells a select range of continental beers, wine and spirits. Brooklyn Beer, Redstripe, Tyskie, Budvar Dark, Liefmans Fruitesse and the new Guinness 'surger' cans are all available, alongside favourites such as Peroni, Heineken, John Smiths Smooth and Gaymers cider.
